NEOREMA™ Internship Program

NEOREMA™ (Northeast Ohio Research Education Medicine Alliance) is an innovative collaboration between Cleveland Clinic (CC) and Kent State University (KSU.) Launched to increase the participation of groups that have been shown by the National Science Foundation to be underrepresented in biomedical sciences on a national basis, this four-week program provides educational programming for students who are American Indian or Alaskan Native, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, low income, or who would be the first to attend college in their family.

This four-week internship program encourages students' interest in clinical areas of health care and gives students the opportunity to learn about the sciences and scientific writing skills while working alongside professionals from Cleveland Clinic and Kent State University.

As regional leaders in research, education, and medicine, our alliance institutions recognize the importance of developing and training the Northeast Ohio region’s next generation of biomedical leaders. We’re committed to providing the education, support, and access necessary to ensure program participants can achieve their dreams of becoming physicians, researchers, and health science professionals without leaving home.
