Louis Stokes Workforce Readiness Internship Program

Launched in partnership with PNC Bank and supported by Youth Opportunities Unlimited and Effective Leadership Academy, this internship program honors Congressman Louis Stokes’ legacy of public service and his longstanding commitment to the youth of Cleveland.

During this six-week internship, high school students from Cleveland and East Cleveland will have the opportunity to work and learn alongside caregivers at Cleveland Clinic. Students spend their first two weeks participating in a work experience leadership camp and the following four weeks working in non-clinical departments of Cleveland Clinic like law enforcement, administration, information technology, marketing, human resources and building operations.

The program also provides financial literacy and computer training that will prepare students for success in life and in their eventual careers.
