School-Based programs that extend the resources
expertise of Cleveland Clinic to the classroom.
Aligned with academic content standards, these interdisciplinary initiatives are designed to improve health and wellness, promote academic achievement, and foster career preparedness for students in grades pre-K through 12.
Through hands-on, authentic learning experiences, students develop the 21st
century skills they need to be successful not only today, but throughout their entire lives.

5 to Go!™ is aimed towards preventing obesity in children and keeping them healthy, inside and out, throughout their lives. This initiative is comprised of two school-based curricula offered in elementary schools, Food is Knowledge® and Healthy Futures.
This interdisciplinary line of programs utilizes peer-to-peer learning to immerse high school students in the creative exploration of science.
