Ambassadors for Learning™
Ambassadors for Learning™ is an innovative mentorship program that connects Cleveland Clinic caregivers, their relatives, physicians, retirees, or proactive members of the community with volunteer opportunities at more than 700 public and private schools throughout the region. Through the program, volunteers can tailor their roles to their professional and personal skills, providing valuable real-world learning to students throughout grades K-12, facilitating their transition into post-secondary education.
To learn more about the program, please take a moment to review the information in our Ambassadors for Learning™ FAQs document.
To be considered for the Ambassadors for Learning™ program, please complete an online application.
Since we work with minors, all applicants are subject to a background check. We require that applicants be “in good standing” with the Cleveland Clinic health system. The Office of Civic Education Initiatives looks at “good standing” as a caregiver or a retiree without ANY corrective action and this information will be verified by the employee’s supervisor and/or Human Resources.
Your application to participate in the Cleveland Clinic Office of Civic Education Initiatives Ambassadors for Learning™ Program is made with the understanding that you are able to meet the responsibilities required for participation.
Completing an online application does not guarantee participation in the Ambassadors for Learning™ program.
